  • Melt margarine & chocolate squares in microwave or over double boiler. *if using cocoa, mix with dry ingredients.
  • Mix dry ingredients together, add melted margarine & vanilla. Stir well, add slightly beaten eggs. Mix well.
  • Add nuts.
  • Place in square baking pan.
  • Bake @ 350* for 25 minutes.
  • When done, let cool completely before cutting in squares.
  • Variation: right after removing from oven, scatter some favorite (chocolate, butterscotch, vanilla) chips over top, cover with foil, let sit for a few minutes, then spread over top evenly.
