Method

  • Wash and rinse sadudana 2 - 3 times and keep in water for ten minutes. Remove all water and soak it for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Boil and mash potatoes
  • Roast peanuts and crush them coarsely.
  • In a bowl mix soaked tapioca pearls, mashed potatoes, crushed peanuts, salt, chopped green chillies, cumin seeds, lemon juice, sugar and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Mix nicely all and make a soft dough.
  • Take a lemon sized portion and flatten it.make vadas.
  • Heat oil in a pan on medium flame,
  • Fry all vadas on a medium flame till golden brown colour.
  • Serve hot vadas with coriander chutney and sweet curd.
