  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 2-3 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp salt (skip using it in case of using salted butter)

💡️ Once all the components are ready, you are ready to concoct brookies by adhering to the 9 following instructions:


  • Preheat the oven to 160°C and line the tray with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, sift together flour,cocoa, baking powder and baking soda. Stir in the sugar and salt. Mix until combined.
  • Add the butter and vanilla.
  • Add the milk (firstly add 2 tbsps to combine the mixture and if it doesn't look combined add one more tbsp of milk to it
  • Add half of the chocolate chips and mix. Make into a smooth dough
  • Chill the dough in fridge for 10 - 15 mins
  • Make even sized balls and keep the brookies 2 inches apart on parchment paper as they to spread. Place the half of chocolate chips on the brookies.
  • Bake for 10 mins ONLY. They may look soft and undergone. But once yu let them cool they become crisp like brownies on outside and soft like them on inside. Baking for longer time will make your brookies hard.
  • Leave them to cool for 10- 15 mins completely and transfer to air tight container.
